PROJECT OVERVIEW
The homeowner needed new gas pipework installed along the exterior of their property, along with a meter relocation. This type of work is often required when updating old gas supplies, moving meters to more accessible locations, or preparing a property for a new boiler installation.
Our Gas Safe registered engineers assessed the property and planned the most efficient route for the new gas pipe. The pipework needed to run vertically up the side of the building, with careful consideration given to the existing structure and other services on the wall.
SOLUTIONS
Our team installed new external gas pipework running up the side of the property. The work included:
- Planning the safest and most practical route for the gas pipe
- Securely fixing the pipework to the brickwork using appropriate brackets
- Connecting the new pipework to the gas supply and meter
- Relocating the meter to a more suitable position
- Pressure testing the entire system to check for leaks
- Issuing all required Gas Safe documentation
The black pipework was neatly installed to blend with the building and minimise visual impact on the property.
